Malacañang Palace – To welcome the new year and to wish more prosperous year for The Philippines, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and First Lady Louise Araneta-Marcos, hosted the new year reception tradition of Vin D’Honneur at the beautiful Malacañang Palace. Vin D’Honneur was attended by cabinet members, senators, congressmen and members of diplomatic corps.
In his welcoming remark, President Marcos Jr. stated, “we take pride that we can claim that The Philippines is now the fastest rising economy in the Asia Pacific region.” Furthermore he shared plans and programs to hasten full recovery from pandemic.
Following his remark, he proposed a toast to continuous prosperity and well being of the Filipino people. The program was continued by presenting Filipino traditional dances and closed by fireworks presentation.
