The Spouses of Heads of Mission (SHOM) Manila organized ‘Diplomats for a Cause,’ a special gala that featured a fashion show and a silent auction of artworks on October 8th, 2024 at the Grand Ballroom of the Marriott Hotel. The event presented foreign ambassadors, heads of international institutions, other ranking diplomats and their spouses, also their children.
The pieces which were showcased in the fashion show were provided by Kultura, SM Fashion and SM Fashion Forum. While the silent auction of artworks presented the hidden talents of our diplomats, in form of painting and photography.
The charity gala managed to collect more that ₱2million and will be distributed to selected local beneficiaries that actively working for the betterment of vulnerable children, women and people with disabilities in Manila and also across the Philippine archipelago.
